I started this journey as a child, hunting with my dad.  I enjoyed spending time in the woods, bringing home the rabbits, dove and quail to be cleaned and then cooked.  Delicious! Later, as I traveled alone for business, I bought my first handgun, but frankly, a gun range for a woman was a scarier place than the streets of South Florida, so I didn't practice much.  I joined a women's shooting league and found a true passion.  Since then, I have taken every opportunity to train with a variety of instructors, local and national.  What I have learned has truly changed my life and I want to share those experiences with others.  I became an instructor to help others find that passion for the shooting sports or to feel more comfortable lawfully carrying a concealed firearm.  Shooting for fun and competition is a great way to meet new people and build self-confidence. The shooting sport can also be a family event.  I will always cherish the memories of walking through the woods with my dad and carrying home food for our table.

I was born and raised in Florida.  I've been around guns and hunting my whole life.  I have worked in the gun industry for most of my adult life, repairing and selling firearms. I am an NRA Basic Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer.  I am also an armorer, trained and certified from several manufacturers.  I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge with additional credentials such as rifle, shotgun and CCW.  I enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge with other people and training them to protect themselves.
